Etsy Wednesday: I'm so adjective I verb nouns.

I am a wordie. That is to say I like words (like a foodie likes food. I made it up because everything else to describe my love of words sounds pretentious).
(letters for sale!)

I almost always have to resist the urge to hoard newspapers (thank goodness for the convenience of recycling bins) because paper covered in text always seems like the perfect medium for whatever my next imaginary art project is. Luckily for all of you, some people put their creative genius to use and that's where this week's etsy post comes in. These are all the things I found with words, quotes, or text of some sort on them.

"Since I have been alone, time goes by so slow"- There is something hauntingly beautiful about loneliness. I sort of want to hug this piece, but it is tile, so that would be uncomfortable for everyone involved.(ceramic tile by misterrob)

"You're nothing short of my everything"- It's hard for me to resist prints that have hearts in places of letters. I also appreciate the styling of this photo. Black, white, and red print in a wood frame mounted on an off-white-washed brick wall. It shouldn't work, but it does.(print by ishootnouns)

Nerd alert: this cuff is printed in binary code. I can't translate that, but I still think it is awesome. In other news, braille has recently become passé.(copper cuff bracelet by karlawheelerdesign)

"Live, Love, Laugh"- These words are simple enough for all of us to live by them. Or at least use them with which to eat our morning cereal. And for those of you who kills plants (like me!), this seller's "Water Me" "Don't Die" and "Black Thumb" forks might remind you to try a little harder.(vintage spoon and garden forks by monkeysalwayslook)

"Oh darling, let's be adventurers." My wanderlust has kicked in as I smile at the simplicity of this print.(print by fifiduvie)

"Warning: T Rex on the loose." My niece is about to turn 3. She was a pterosaur for Halloween. Using the kind of telepathy that only an Aunt and a Niece have, she told me she wants this for her bedroom. Who am I to deny a child her bliss?

"i carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart)"- this is a line from my favorite e.e. cummings poem. I don't think I need to explain myself any further. A million swoons.(bracelet by spiffingjewelry)

"Yeah You really got me now"- I am sorry if this song gets stuck in your head. It's in mine so we are even. I also like the vintage German text blocks by this same seller. I have no idea what they say but their vagueness reminds me of the congreve cube from Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.(print and blocks by crowbiz)

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." Three words: Harry Potter Reference. Two more: Mischief Managed.
